New Content Network Exclusion Functionality

Just logged in this morning, and Google have given me a new toy to play with:D!

Instead of excluding individual sites, it appears that I can now block certain categories of site, as well as "Domain Ads" and "Error Page Ads".

    Anyone tried this out yet?

Yup, excluded all the suggested categories this morning and monitoring the results on our high traffic campaigns.

Domain Ads and error pages have ALWAYS performed best through ALL accounts that we manage so there is no way they will be excluded.

Looks like it could be a nice timesaver.

Is this feature only released in the UK? I can't seem to find that particular upgrade within my account anywhere, nor any mention of it in any of the help docs... and I would really love to use that tool too...

I've only got it available on one account at the moment.

Interestingly, I've not had the same success with the Error Page ads that Cianuro has, so I've killed them as well...

Definitely nice to be able to block all the social networking groups with a single click.

I have 3 MCC accounts I oversee and none of them are giving me the goods!

Are you seeing this option under the normal 'site exclusion' tab?

In response to cianuro's comment, it's been the same for me too. Almost every single account I've ran, the domain ads and error page ads have performed best.

I've found the exact opposite in almost every account I manage. Domain traffic is probably 30% as effective from what I've measured. I have seen the occasional exception, but not often.

Too bad the adwords editor isn't updated to reflect these changes. Trying to copy ads to a cpc based targeted campaign causes all sorts of errors.
