Hey, everyone. I posted this in reviews section, but wasn't sure if that was the right area or not. I created http://bestofthenet.quoted4truth.com/ , and was wondering if i could get some input from people (what i should change, if i should even bother anymore with it, etc etc). It basically is a site that eliminates the need to go to all the social bookmarking sites, and combines all the data in to one area. let me know what you guys think! Thanks, Kallell
Well, it seems like a good site that has a lot of content that can be indexed. If you haven't signed up for a google adsense account, I suggest you do. Have google adsense ads placed either on the left or top of your site in a way that it blends in with the content of your website. Every time someone clicks on your ad, then you get a few cents or dollars. They add up after awhile. I suggest you do the same with your other site, too, because of the interesting material you have on that site. Might as well monetize it and make a little money off of it.
Good idea, but the site is pretty ugly. You should hire a designer that is familiar with using Ajax and create a a completely new look for your site. It may set you back $500, but it´ll be worth it many times if you are serious about this site.
Yes, i know that the look is my biggest flaw atm. That has kind of taken the back burner atm, so i can put more focus on the coding. I've been poking around with some good color schemes that could work well together. I have an adsense account, I was just hoping to get the main thing up and running before i through the adds in there. So you guys feel i should continue to develop this? In a sense i guess it would be something similar along the lines of meebo.
your site is nice for search engine friendly but look and feel is not good try to make more attractive its my opinion only
Frankly,both of them need redesign and need to use a blend of a more classy color to make it attractive
