A blog is shortent form of the term weblog. You either install a blog program on your site of use a site that provides the tools for you to use. Would start with something on your site like wordoress. Very easy to install. Just have to create a database using your control panel and give the setup program that information. You should install it in a directory called something like fashionnews or latestfashionnews. Beside providing content that people are looking for, you can get many links to your site from blog directories and article directories that will help your popularity and thus affect your position in the search engines. So you would have news articles about the latest new about designer X or line of clothing line Z or the latest trends of clothing. People would find these articles and discover your site. Besure to use mod rewite to make your urls friendly and make sure that the blog has a plugin for keyword and description if your blog software does not come with that feature.
