New Co-Op FAQ Live!

Discussion in 'Co-op Advertising Network' started by T0PS3O, Mar 8, 2005.

I volunteered (again) to build a Co-op FAQ. Demand seems huge, supply had to follow I thought.

So to supplement the Official FAQ , and the Old FAQ I have now built the Unofficial Co-op FAQ.

Built in Blogger for ease of expansion and updating.

Not quite 100% finished yet but I didn't want to keep you waiting any longer for answers... My forum friends deserve a rest from noob questions :D

Please read the intro here and especially the part where it says that I won't help you out besides providing this FAQ.

    Enjoy!

    I was hoping so :D

I was wondering whether to duplicate post a similar thread in the Weight forum since that's an area covered extensively on the FAQ. People might over-look it here...

    See how we go first...

Oh and I have 21K weight of which 20.5 is referrals :D I hope that will be 100K soon!

Great job you did Tops! I've had the fortune of getting a sneak preview and many questions I wondered about and many I never even thought of were answered. An excellent resource!

    One thing....... where you say

Increasing your pagecount or PRwon't increase your weight so them extra ads you serve for others are a 'bonus' to the network.

It was my understanding that there is a cap for each PR rank, per ad. So a pr6 site will cap at a higher weight then a pr 5

    Was I wrong?

Yup, that's wrong. I'll change that. Obviously, increaing PR will bump you up until you hit the next cap.

Glad you like it. But I'll have to rewrite part of it (and still finish the rest) because of the latest update. Good to see a smart person reading first before asking the obvious.

'Funny' thing is, I have some nice referals from it but can't spend it since I don't have any useful (personal) sites to stick the code on. So I have a fair bit (prolly more than average) of unvalidated weight lying around going to waste :( ...

    Will be sorted soon though!

I will put the code on a site in exchange for some weight. Although not selling though, Im not sure if that would technically violate the TOS.

I've got it sorted now pretty much, just waiting for a new site of my own to be indexed (it won't validate at the mo). It's got the code on there, just need 1 base weight :).

If it's not going to happen in a hurry I know where to find you...
