PPC advertisers: did you turn off your campaigns for CB's products? I seriously consider turning it off until the situation gets clear. Something doesn't look right to me. nadavs
Past conversion data of the product and my personal experience tell me there should have been some conversions since Jan. 8. Maybe it's because the capitalize the affiliate name now. nadavs
nadavs That capitalized affiliate name shouldn't change anything, because the customer still can't see it. "Out of sight, out of mind"
I would suggest that you turn it off as soon as possible since you will be loosing lot of money right now! Nowaday we affiliates are overloaded with costs on ppc, marketing and hard work to gain a piece of the profit...and then some technical problem or whatever prevent us from getting a great percentage of our sales!... I still cant believe this, even a company situated on a small deserted island somewhere in the pacific with a couple of employees wouldnt screw smething like this, and even if they screw, they would fix it asap and not leave it days and days.....
Friday is a usual good day for me, showed some conversions on google today, and nothing on clickbank, anyone do poor today with clickbank?
Strange, but in the week following the 3 days downtime during wich i posted this thread, i made an outstanding ammount of sales....57 sales in 7 days....For me, things are back up to normal. "failure will only make success even better when it comes"
I resumed a campaign that is a proven seller (I stopped it because it had some problems in the past, but now they're fixed). It also has Google conversion tracking. If ClickBank fakes on that one, I'm stopping all PPC campaign. Also, for people whose sales were not affected: are you using Google Analytics? nadavs
Everything seems back on track for ol' diaboloney. I still think I lost some sales though.. but no way to prove anything...
Please excuse me if my post is in the wrong area, or not supposed to be here, I haven't figured this site out yet... I have a new site that sells an ebook, and I read that affiliate programs are the way to go for getting sales. I dont know anything about aff sales, and heard about CB...now I see all this bad posting about CB, I dont know what to do. I need affiliates for my program, I have a secure log-in area for every affiliate, and I even provide some media to use... it is obvious to me that there are some really pro aff people out there (judging by this thread), I would like to meet them\ My product has been reviewed by almost 20 of online marketings "big-dog's", and I have received nothing but excellent reviews so far, you can see one such review on my site (check my profile here)... My product is an excellent product, and not a gimmic...my site is good, and converts well. I personally dont understand all the ways aff's generate traffic, and dont have the time to learn either. Any pointers?
Can anyone tell me what the going rate is for affiliate programs, and how this stuff works>? Is there a site that has the basics about affiliate programs? Thanks
