New clickbank update destroying sales.

i dont think so but it depends at what stage the affiliate is listed

 

I also suffered, but things seem back to normal for me (i'm a publisher, 5 accounts, all were affected from the 11th or 12th until today). Now I'm seeing sales from a few days ago pop up... CB must love all the hate mail they are getting. It's justified though.

 

you mean that sales that were done in those days (and not credited to you) are now apearing automatically?

im sure they recieved a few, looks like i had an order popping up as well (no hoplink and a sale).....apart from that the order just apeared by itself after around a day not their

 

is the sale from a few days ago or now?

 

the same day, but it apeared like a day after it was made (or at least shown in my reports)

 

my sales are also way down this month but im hoping that its just cause of xmas and hopefully picks up soon

 

Hi arcade, I wish you are right but unfortunately thats not the problem, clickbank is.

If this was the problem sales wownt have picked up from 2nd january till the 7th and then just dropped. (Sales drop during the holiday season only)

From what we have found the issue is per account basis (If you got a drop your account was effected)

I know its not linear but the evidence show just this....

 

If I think my account was affected, what should I write to ClickBank?

Lot of people contacted them and they replied with a lame unrelated answer (including myself).

But if you are going to contact them just give them details on when and how much your sales have droped. Be sure to mention that your sales dropped after their update on the 8thjanuary since its the cause of all problems.

Yea I have had a little more clickthroughs but no sales? My keywords are so targetted that If they weren't buying they wouldn't be searching....so the holiday lul can't be an excuse for me.

 

w00t! got my first sale of the year

 

I still have problems with updating Paycheck stats. It shows 01.01.08 as a last pay period, also I still haven't received the check for that period.

 

wow that's strange, have you taken a screenshot and sent it to them?

and btw just got my 2nd sale today so things are looking normal for me now lets hope it stays that way.

oh are you talking about the Paychecks under the Reporting tab? The last one shown on mine is 2007-12-16 which is the period after I rec'd my last check.

Yes, that's what I am talking about

Mine was 2007-12-16, but after new year it changed to 2008.01.01 and until now it's the same, which is wrong.

 

well yesterday a sale showed up and it was for a product i hadn't promoted in over 2 months lol and it was for 100$ so yay for that.
