To clarify just how wrong this is. December 7th to January 8th: 45 hops per sale January 12th - 14th: 650 hops - NO SALES
Yes, its very strange. The problem is that it looks like not everyone noticed this or have been effected.
I just e-mailed their customer support. I suggest everyone do the same until something is done about it. Perhaps calling during business hours would be better as well.
Clickbank Replied that nothing is wrong and according to their statistics sales have not dropped...just the usual answer to cover up......
I emailed them already, and they replied stating that everytihng is fine bla bla....they also gave me the advise to put ads on magazines and newsletters? wt* ? (Their reply was totally out of subject) After that email i told them: listen i dont need advise where to put my ads, i just want to know if something is wrong since sales does not drop that way without any reason... --- they didnt replied to that email yet and over 2 days have passed..

I dont think its clickbank its just buyers are not in the mood to buy plus everyone us broke after new years!!
I have seen a drop from 2-3 sales a day to NO sales for a week or so... but I do not think it's CB related... I think people are STILL Broke after Xmas... At least I do not use PPC or any other kind of paid advertising, so I do not lose money on thousands of clicks
I have not noticed a negative change since "the update". My sales have gone up after the New Year. January is always my best sales month anyways. For those that have been affected by the downturn in ClickBank sales, make sure you diversify with at least five different affiliate programs. So, if something were to happen with ClickBank, you would not be hurt monetarily.
wt*** ??? does that mean that they are going to deduce vat now as well? im really mad now! i cant believe this...
no really, if people are broke after xmas they dont stop being broke(start buying) until the the 7th january and then suddenly get broke,,,,dont you think?
something is definetly up with clickbank's system... as I'm experiencing drops as well (just like a many other people). Since not everyone is having this problem it's hard to do anything about it. They are just going to deny it and say that everything is fine.
I noticed that my affiliate on the order page says ESEARCHING and that's not my affiliate id... strange. anyone else see this?
I got that email as well so apparently sales will be even less once they take out the VAT they inadvertently credited instead of debiting to everyones account.
That is something I was afraid of happening. Hope it isn't too widespread, or actually if it becomes widespread maybe CB would do something about it. If the affiliate listed is different then would it still put a hop on your analytics?
