i am more and more tending towards creating my own sites and products, shove my very own paypal link on there, money right to paypal acc....or use an "in-house" affiliate payment system without going thru 3rd party.
and you get paid instantly only draw back is that if you are a serious player in the market your gonna get refund issues. depending on how many you sell a day you could have disputes going left and right.
@ georgR. How would your affiliates know how much traffic theyre sending you, how could they track their sales (like CB tracking link extension), also, how could they be sure if they get paid for every sale they do?

Thats why its such a problem. If everyone got affected they would solve it much faster. From what i have noticed only some got a drop in their sales and noone really have any idea whats the difference between who got a drop and who didnt....
An update related to their checkout system that was done on the 8th january, you can find more info on the clickbank website...
I have yet to see any drops so I don't think it's the CB update unless it depends on your particular niche.
I had a PPC campaign that made regular sales late last year (nov & dec) that I had paused to wait on a check to come in and I restarted around Jan 4th and plenty of clicks just like before but no sales? Glad I'm not the only one noticing a difference. BTW: I am not using a landing page and sending clicks direct to merchant, (not linking to straight to order page though)

I posted this in the other thread, but think it belongs here aswell: I wanted to add to this thread. I've noticed almost identical issues to what you guys have been describing. I have been averaging 5-6 sales a day over the last month or so, then suddenly; Jan 10th - 0 sales Jan 11th - 4 sales (some of you mentioned the 11th returning to normal) Jan 12th - 0 sales Jan 13th - 0 sales Jan 14th - 0 sales The funny thing, I have been attracting a lot of new visitors as well, my hops are up 20% for the same period where my sales have DROPPED TO ZERO. Something is not right!
