    I like the picture with the wood type backdrop, in regards to the garland draped over the words I feel it kind of covers the letters up. Perhaps running it underneath them would bring them out more but keep the same holiday spirit and color. It looks great, just my 2 cents.

    I like the first one. For the second - i would try to find another wood texture. Probably, a smoother one..

    About version 2 though, I don't get what wood has to do with graphics...
