    tisk, tisk, yon chiclet doth appear to violatith ye ole google terms of service. I hope they're not counting on keeping that revenue stream alive.

    Why would they bother to spend the time doing that?

    It looks real crappy.

    My understanding was that you could promote using two titles: "sponsored links" and "advertisements"

    I also agree it looks bad. Glad to know that it isn't something from Google's end as on my ads I try to minimize all distractions ie borders from the ads themselves and would not like a mandatory include of an ugly "new".

    Google has asked me twice to remove ads that aren't on ideal pages. I'm sure they will ask these people eventually as well.

    I removed the ads on my search page and on my forums login page and Google was happy.
