New hack has been added to the chat. Now you can select your own font type, and I just tested out my first banning, on myself!!!! Proxy users will be able to get around it and anonomys IP address service users can get around it, by going to another service site.

 

hmm anthonycea was you, but F@@K-ysf1 or whatever the other guy called himself, was not you, right? Just wanna make sure

I think it's cool how everyone there talks about who knows what and somehow gets along (except the dude who first dissed ysf and then everyone else, I have his IP though )

 

Yeah it was lots of fun except for that one dude, he kept calling everyone names.

 

And then I banned him!!

Now I got the log added to the chat.

The number one complaint about a chat is that the message will be gone soon. Not with a log!!

1. Never give out your personal information in a chat room. Ie, NEVER tell strangers your a/s/l, or your phone number or address. Don't even tell them what planet you live on. Remember, the chat room is covered with wackos on crack!!! er it was a wacko on crack who set it up and added the hacks!!!!

2. Never agree to meet a wacko, er stranger in person whom you met in a chat room. Don't ever chat with a wacko in the chat room. ie, never ever respond to any one named after a video game company.

3. When you're asked to enter or sign up for a chat nickname, choose a name that doesn't give away your personal information. For example, you might use CrackPotSue instead of DetroitSue.

4. Be wary of other wackos on crack who ask you to meet in private chat rooms. If thay ask you to meet them in that park across town, tell your intelligent parents!!!!

5. Check the terms and conditions, code of conduct, and privacy statement at the chat site before you begin chatting.

Duh....*ALERT* no Privacy Statement there!!!! (LAWYER/COPPA Disclaimer: It doesn't ask for personal info, it only logs EVERY THING YOU POST!!!!)

The script is supposed to allow more than one chat room. I think I'll try testing that out. I once has a chat where you could create your own chat room, but it was very server intensive. Created files for every single chater, posted every message on each users file and so on, and didn't delete them after chat ended. This script is extremely simple! All it does is deletes the last message and adds the newest message. Who ever said perl was hard on the server??!!

I'm not sure how to do that stuff. And perl pros that know how to do that? Let me know and I'll give you a copy of the script.

And another idea is being able to register and log-in so no one can IMP you, except those that know how to censor your name . If you know how to make a log-in, PM me. A simple txt file with the info would be enough, permission protected of course.
