Very nice design! I would remove the background, it looks wrong. I also would suggest you to add more text to the home page, to enable Google and other SE to get the theme of your site.
I would second the motion to remove the background and stick with something simple, like white or light grey. I tried the search and couldn't come up with one result. Also - I don't really get it .. the post below the images seems to indicate you will have some sort of car review in that location or as a blog? Yet - all the images kind of implies people are showing off their "modified cars" but, there is no details on the pages at all. You definitely need more copy on the individual image pages and an about section on the frontpage to let readers like me know what this site is really about. PS - your store link is invalid.
The design is very good. I also like the adsense integration. Some of the functions/features don't work (yet?), and the site is very slow. Geat job!
