    Hi all,

Just launched a new forum (www.wemster.com/forum) with an emphasis on buying & selling websites/domains/services etc. Number of catergories is quite small untill we start to get some more users.

What is the best way to market such a site?

Any experienced forum owners fancy sharing thier secrets? (I can dream)

Advertise and SEO a lot, stay active on a lot of forums with a link in your signature. If you got money spend it on advertisement, also try to offer something unique so that people got a reason to register at your forum.

    Thanks for your suggestions guys.

How would you best spend your advertising budget? Adwords? SEO services? Other?

Add "Scripts" to your market place and you'll have one new user. ;)

It looks like you just tried to recreate DigitalPoint in blue. Why would I go there instead of here? If there's a good answer, exploit it.

ETA: you need a better logo too.
