    Hey guys,

    I am currently in development stage of a new Forum/Discussion Board software.

    Project Info:

    Name: ImpBB (No reason, just my name + bb)
    Demo: http://www.impbb.com/forums
    Base: PunBB (Very fast and efficient)
    Current Status: Development (Beta 1)

    I have a good amount of experience in php and mysql.

    The reason i am posting on DP is because i am interested to know if anyone with knowledge of: php, mysql, or css would like to help. I am currently the only one developing this and if i could assemble a team, it would be more efficient.

    Hi impulse8

    I'd be interested in testing this script and doing some minor cosmetic enhancements via css. I have a very small forum currently up and running using SMF: http://www.fyiforum.com . . . traffic is light in my forum amongst a few web clients and friends, it would be a good testing ground for the script.

    Yeah, its still in development. Im changing the default skin first. I fixed a problem in the install.php. Punbb isnt exactly updating their software anymore.

    Punbb currently does not have any addons for it. I am developping a few though. They don't even have private messaging which will be my first addition.

    Will there be any legal agreement. How can we trust you? Lets say I help and then you decide to kick me out?

    Are you willing to sign an agreement of some sort?

    If it will be opensource? what about the licenses then? :D and maby i'm instrested by helping, but need to know first the guideline, documentation about what makes the forum differend ot other forums..

    It is open source with the open source license (GUI). Its different because it is light yet high secure for free.
