hi I opened 5 new blogspot blogs with new google account and everyday added one article to each of them. Articles were totally unique. Built some links, adding one link every few days. Two weeks passed but still not a single visitor from google. some of them have all pages indexed, some have only homepage indexed. All blogs are on finance, banking niche. First question is Should I keep them as seperate blogs or combine alltogether to make one content-rich blog? And second is Google was giving priority to blogspot blogs in ranks but now it does not seem so. Is it because the account is new? or blogs are new? why may that happen?
I'm curious as to why you expect a 2 week old blog to be ranking in search engines? Just like a new website a blog will take time before it starts to rank well in search engines.
i dont know, I just want them to actually, when before starting blogs i asked here a question about how much time should pass for blogs to start getting traffic and the general answer was 'few days' thats why. but thank you to everyone for kind answers.
yes google loves blogs. but its not important to make traffic for google. you had just 2 weekz.I think, you have to wait and countinue to add unique ... at the other side, keep niche .
Finance related keywords are very competitve and your blog is only two week older so i think you should keep patience and watch. update your blog with unique article regularly.
It's been like 4 days now, My blogspot blog has not been yet indexed by Google. And still waiting for Google and other search engines to index it.
Well Mit, i am facing the same problem, still my blog haven't yet cached by G, I don't think so G is giving preference to the blogs... What you think for the same. Regards, James.
From my experience, Wordpress is more easily crawled by search engines than blogger sites. But even, if we put our blogspot link at the pages who have good indexing rate then, it will also be indexed in short period.
I set up blogs on blogger.com and wordpress.com covering similar subjects and I found that the wordpress blog was consistantly outranking the blogger one and getting indexed quicker. Peter
I agree with most of you, Google was giving blogger priority but now blogger has become a favorite place for spammers and Google has changed the rules and is treating blogger blogs even worse than normal sites.
