    Hey I am Number one for the term 'great status quotes' can someone tell me how I have done this? of all my blog posts this is the best one.

    May have been given a temporary "fresh content boost" for a bit.
    It doesn't show on the first page for me. Have you disabled web history?

    You're right just looked on Firefox and I am now ranked 10 but still on page 1

    It was position 2 on page 2 when I checked... must be jumping around a bit... may settle down.

    Well this happens in Google, specially for the blogs, when new entry is updated Google put it on the top. It may be possible that for your keyword there are less updates by the other website competing on the same keyword and that's why your blog is moving from position 1 to 2 and 10 for the keyword 'great status quotes'.

    Anyways its a good news for you and enjoy the organic traffic.

    Yeah you'll definitely be seeing some heavy organic traffic, may even bring in some RSS subscribers and such. If you can continue to rank for these keywords good job, you're well on your way to making some decent money with blogging!

    It is probably because you are the first person who uses that phrase/keyword as title of your blog. It happens all the time to fresh websites even without doing any SEO at all.
