Hey guys, Ive been going through my keyword list and the reasoning behind a certain keyword not showing stunned me. "No The keyword phrase you've entered has a low search volume and isn't showing any of your ads. If more users start searching for your keyword, your ad will begin to show. You don't need to do anything. " Quality score was 7/10 and the word is totally fine imo.. i don't get this. Isnt it contratry to the main idea of chosing highly targeted keywords? It has low search ? So what? I want when someone searches it to see my ad, cuz its totally relevant to the product, ad copy, website. Whats the point to add mispellings etc. in the keyword lists, arent they all with low search volume? Very confused... hope someone share thoughts. Regards!
I have this on a few of mine too. I do not think it is anything to worry about; IMO, it is literally because there are zero searches on that keyword! What is more confusing is the number of keywords that carry the message "Ad showing?......No......This keyword is not triggering ads to appear on Google or the search network." yet they are getting hundreds of impressions a day! I can only conclude the new system has some "teething" problems and "patience" is the order of the day; Trying to get my head around what is happening in my account is rapidly sending me nuts!
Yeah and its not well explained anywhere either. I don't think that there are zero searches like you guessed, because i tried searching myself and the ad didnt appear.
