I am looking for a programmer to make an adjustment to a program I have installed on my VBulletin forum. The program is Chess Viewer Duluxe (CVD): http://www.geocities.com/pilafovi/Chess-Viewer/Viewer-Deluxe.Html?200922 The way this program works is that users of my forum simply upload a pgn file using Manage Attachments, then they post, and the CVD automatically appears and displays their game. This is what a pgn file looks like when openned with NotePad: [Event "World Chess Challenge"] [Site "Sofia BUL"] [Date "2009.02.18"] [Round "2"] [White "Kamsky,G"] [Black "Topalov,V"] [Result "0-1"] [WhiteElo "2725"] [BlackElo "2796"] [ECO "C65"] [EventDate "2009.02.17"] 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nf6 4.0-0 Bc5 5.Nxe5 Nxe4 6.Qe2 Nxe5 7.d4 Qe7 8.dxc5 Nxc5 9.Nc3 Ng6 10.Qh5 c6 11.Bg5 f6 12.Rae1 Ne6 13.Bd3 0-0 14.Bd2 d5 15.f4 Qc5+ 16.Kh1 d4 17.Bf5 Rf7 18.Ne4 Qd5 19.Bxg6 hxg6 20.Qxd5 cxd5 21.Nd6 Rc7 22.c4 dxc3 23.Bxc3 d4 24.Bb4 Bd7 25.Rf2 a5 26.Ba3 b5 27.b3 b4 28.Bb2 Ra6 29.Ne4 Rac6 30.Kg1 Rc2 31.g3 d3 32.Rd1 f5 0-1 What I want is this - if a poster only has the moves of their game, like above for example, but not the pgn file, I still want CVD to upload their games. Right now they would have to convert the above to a pgn file and then upload it. That is fine for some people, but others want to just put their moves in and have the CVD display their game without that middle step. I would like users to be able to bb add tags around their moves, and for the CVD to then recognize the tags as a pgn attachment, and then display the game. For instance: [pgn] [Event "World Chess Challenge"] [Site "Sofia BUL"] [Date "2009.02.18"] [Round "2"] [White "Kamsky,G"] [Black "Topalov,V"] [Result "0-1"] [WhiteElo "2725"] [BlackElo "2796"] [ECO "C65"] [EventDate "2009.02.17"] 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nf6 4.0-0 Bc5 5.Nxe5 Nxe4 6.Qe2 Nxe5 7.d4 Qe7 8.dxc5 Nxc5 9.Nc3 Ng6 10.Qh5 c6 11.Bg5 f6 12.Rae1 Ne6 13.Bd3 0-0 14.Bd2 d5 15.f4 Qc5+ 16.Kh1 d4 17.Bf5 Rf7 18.Ne4 Qd5 19.Bxg6 hxg6 20.Qxd5 cxd5 21.Nd6 Rc7 22.c4 dxc3 23.Bxc3 d4 24.Bb4 Bd7 25.Rf2 a5 26.Ba3 b5 27.b3 b4 28.Bb2 Ra6 29.Ne4 Rac6 30.Kg1 Rc2 31.g3 d3 32.Rd1 f5 0-1 [/pgn] If anyone thinks they can do this, please provide me with a quote. Thanks, AO
