New at website optimization

    I desgined a website with the help of Webposition Gold 3 and submitted it to the major search engines. How long should it take before I should expect to see major traffic?

    depends on the keywords, how well you optimised it, how many incoming links you have, what the PR of those links is etc etc etc

    I'd read thru this board and you'll find all the questions you need. Furthermore, use the search function to find threads for your questions. Then, come back to us with some more specific type questions. This question is VERY broad as ranking is a little more complicated then "submit and wait".

    You cant predict how long it will take. Many variables are involved.
