This is the version I run on my site, and it verifies just fine there. It checks that the ad_network_213.txt is writable, and (I think) all the other stuff the file should do. :)

    Hope you get it working.

Just comming back from vacation and to find that all my sites don't validate. Installed new version and everything is running normal (and checked the new file name is writing the ads), but still getting the:
    Ads not found on http://
    Errr, I hate updates.
(PS. I upgraded to the Post #21 version)

Is this the latest version of the ASP-Coop code?

    Yes. It is.
Strange, I took out the second coop I had on the site, and as soon as I did that, DPS would then validate my site. So, I checked another, and it wouldn't validate. So, I took the second coop out of that site, and it now validates with DPS as well.

Strange. Is DPS penalizing people from using another coop as well? Maybe a conflict in code when this new version came out? Just thought it was strange, but now I validate fine.

It's always been against the TOS to use another adnetwork and this Co Op.

Ok, granted, I cannot speak from the beginning, sorry. I really meant to say that it is against the TOS now, and has been for some time.

Ok. No problem. Didn't read that myself, and it has worked for the 2 or so months I was doing it until the new version came out. Doesn't matter since I am now happy this one works.
PS. Got the idea of using two when I saw a couple other sites doing it.
Curious as to why it was/is against the TOS.

:) Kind of went off topic here lol.

So has anyone had 100% full success with the post #21 version? Or is there another one out there that is better to use?

I've been running the Stupot's ASP version for some time (3 months) and noticed today that my ads are no longer showing and I am failing the validation. I am wondering if Perrow's version is the latest ASP port. If it is, there is a reference to a a file called ad_network_213.txt that I am not familiar with. In the previous ASP version all we had to do was drop in the ad_netwrok.asp file and create a blank ads_network.txt file. Has the installation process changed and can some one guide me to the correct instructions?

    thanks in advance
    Frank

    I am using Perrow's version.
All works well. All validate as of right this minutes.

sayles - the 213.txt file is the file that is used to hold all the ads being downloaded to your server. Must be writable. Gets up to about 400k.

flyred - Im glad you got the other version to work. I didn't really want to try, because I didn't want to install this and that and have two dependencies on one comp. I just use the asp version.

You both still get ads rotatating and just not validating?

Shawn is good. I have asked a lot of people about an IP being banned and it turns out that most are not. If I had access to your server, I could check it. Call me. heh
Ummm, am I correct that your site is html and not ASP?

Im having trouble validating some asp sites too (using stupots code at the moment) is there an updated one available? I have to check them everyday, as sometimes they just go to zero, when I click validate a few times the weight comes back. Is this because of the code we are using?

Went to zero, but never failed validation?
I have noticed a zero problem since the beginning, but they always come back. I have even tested manual validation and automatic on sites. They always have seem to do that.
The only test I haven't done is when a site doesn't validate, if it will revalidate by itself later again. Don't think it will.
I do have a few sites that have 0, but that is also because google has not indexed them. You might want to check that as it always changes depending on which google server is answering when you check (they are never the same - between their servers). My guess is that when DPS does the automatic check, it looks at a google response and if the response if from a server that shows none, then your site goes to zero.

Again to your question. You said you have trouble validating, but it appears you are validating, but that your site has a zero weight.
