I just designed this website for a friend of mine who is a portrait artist, what do you think?

perfect for portrait portfolio

 

I would prefer it if the artwork was displayed in a slideshow format. Displaying each one as a separate blog post breaks everything up too much. You should look into other themes that are specifically designed to show off visual art.

I suggest you slow down the slide show and just show the text at the bottom of the picture instead of having the shadowy pop up effect.
