New approach to web promotion?

PS - don't buy links, and try to avoid link exchanges (especially 3-way link exchanges, as someone suggested)

 

New Approach would be using all this information all together and not forgetting a piece of it. I think Google understands that your site is popular when you get links from all the resources possible: petty directories, social bookmarking services, well established directories, forums - that is wheree you get lucky, using that all together

 

That's another good point - you asked for a "New Approach"...

Here's the thing - if SEO-ers had a 'new approach' to SEO, it would discussed widely on every SEO resource out there. You would've heard about it.

I don't think you can ask for a new seo technique and get answers that you've never heard before. You know?

Here's your new seo approach: don't buy links that are easily recognized as paid links and don't spam keywords in, what are now [somewhat] useless, meta tags (referrencing seo 10 yrs back)

Anyway, as others have suggested - search EVERYWHERE keywords about your niche. See where you can fit your site (your link) into related sites. See what relevant directories you can get into. Promote your product/service on highly relevant sites. Be creative and figure out how you can make your product stand out. What does your service offer that similar ones don't? Promote that...

 

start giving sum cool stuff like t-shirts or sum kinda useful E-book for free.
