Hey this is really very interesting.

Its providing all video and audio search results also.

I am also agree with seoindiaweb - AOL is having nice traffic from US and UK.

It all depends. AOL is usually a network that moms, pops, and teenagers will use because it's 1. cheap, 2. available.

Most people who know a thing or two about computers doesn't reallly use AOL unless they have to by default.

So if you have a myspace site, yes, you'll have tons of AOL people. If you have an SEO site, like www.three-way-links.com, AOL is few and far between.

I think AOL has taken the right strategy to rely on Google for search results. I think they have potential of becoming a great search engine provider but this will take time depending on marketing.

I think the tag line "AOL Search beta, Enhanched by Google" should read "Google Search beta, Enhanched by AOL"

AOL has the brand name for the average joe. They can still market themselves quite well. I wouldnt count them out of the game just yet.

    I hate AOL
    As an ISP its AOHELL

I used to use Excite search engine (many years ago) and then when that went, I switched to google, never liked any other.

It has always said "Enhanced by Google". Go to www.aol.com and you will see it there as it has been for many years...

As funny as it might sound now - AOL using Google for search and having the Google logo on the homepage/etc was a huge part of Google's success and brand recognition early on..
