Hello guys im new here my name is Nick , 3 months ago i decided to make a website and work on it , my first website so i had to learn lots of things as im a newb. So now i have a PR 4 website in humor niche with traffic from 2k - 5 daily but my income with adsense is really low , first month i made 4 euros , second month 14 . I dont know why im making so little , how can i improve my CPC ? or how to best monetize the website? Cheers Nick.
For impressions and clicks you can't get better than Google AdSense. Just stick with it and improve your website and content. What most people don't realise about internet advertising is that its a long term investment. Your not going to start a website and get rich from ads in three months. Instead you need to view the ads as a long term project - Think how much your website traffic might grow over the next five or ten years. Thats when the ads will start paying dividends
How many clicks you are getting on a daily basis ? . & Its all based on your content. If your content is related to insurance / banking, you will get good amount per click. what is your site name ?
I would advise optimizing your ad placements. Do a search for the Adsense heatmap and try that. Pretty much the only way you're going to increase your click through rates the white hat way.
