Hi, I'm new here and I have a lot of questions. 1. If you are buying a website, how does everything transfer? Like how does the owner transfer the domain name and hosting to you? wouldn't it be in their name and everything? 2.How do you exactly get the website? Does the person selling the website just email you the passwords and everything? 3.What about adsense, clickbank, etc... when you sign up for it don't you have to put your address on it, so they know where to send the cheques? So can the person selling the website change the adress or what? I am really confused I have been reading a lot about online marketing and just want to get started making some revenue.
Hey, Well firstly, if you're just starting out, I recommend you don't buy a website because you're probably going to get scammed. I recommend you start from scratch and create your own clickbank account.
Adsense does have you enter your address in the "payee information" section. You can edit your address and the change will be reflected for the next month.
1. The website owner will push the domain to your account and you fill out your information 2. The person will send you the html or wordpress database and then you upload them to your hosting 3. For adsense, you remove their adsense code and create your own adsense unit to put on the website
