New Affiliate Posting Rule PLEASE READ

I am utterly confused as to this rule. I just got a 5 point infraction for 'spamming' for simply advertising my own Affiliate program for my own product. Maybe the issue was the link on the body of the message. Is it okay to have the link instead in the signature file?

You better use your affiliate link in signature. Links in signature are allowed.

 

This is nice.I received 2 pm .And I saw "ban" word in their pm folder.

i saw a few people asking, but no answer. So i am trying to ask the question again

If i have an affiliate offer connected to my website i can promote it in here, as long that i post all information including a link to the affiliate signup site?

The PM me thing is ridiculous and Generally leads to you getting Tons of SPAM emails or in phished accounts. 9 times out of 10 the PM me thing is a BIG waste of time, the program SUCKS or you endanger yourself with spams, hacks and many other dangerous possibilities...I saty away from them and I am glad this rule is here...Thanks DP.

 

Forgive me if I'm duplicating a reply here but I know I started a reply a few days ago but I don't think it went thru. Anyway, I couldn't agree more. I was no sooner a member than I got a pm "advertisement". I didn't appreciate it at all and hoped that it wasn't an indication of all I could expect here. I'm glad to know it isn't.

 

Guess I sort of misunderstood the rule. Apparently people can pm you since I got another pm "advertisement" today. So it's only in their posts that the rule is referring to right? That is, the post itself is mainly just to have people pm them to hook them into their affliate promo. OK, think I got it. Guess I'd have to change my profile settings to avoid receiving a pm "advertisment". No big deal, I just delete them.

 

People know about that || But they can talk about the Good networks programs..!!

Hello, I was wondering how you get affiliat sites to adveritse on your site if you don't meet the requirements with a sertain # of visitors a day like some I have seen. Is there a good affiliate that you can use along with google adsense and not get into trouble from google? All my sies are parked at whypark and have adsense, but I have heard that affiliates pay better. I am a clickbank member but don't know how to use it. Please Help!
