Hello guys, i am signing up as a new advertiser on CJ and wanted to get your feedback regarding what i should or should not do? I am not here to promote anything but get feedback regarding some general items. The web based service that i like to promote is for medical industry. I love the product / service, the site is good and is getting traffic every day. Having said that now, following is my list of questions: - how to attract people to promote it? - what to look for when selecting someone? - how do you know when your site is not converting? like how many referrals does it take for a subscription base service to convert? - since my service is for medical industry, how to make sure i get the right people to promote the service? - last question, what does CJ look for before letting someone in as an advertiser? Again, i am not here to promote anything. Just wanted to get honest (maybe harsh) feedback from the community here. Regards,
- how to attract people to promote it? Write some interesting stuff on the product, make it entertaining and informative - what to look for when selecting someone? ??? Selecting who for what?? I assume you are asking the same question as above, how to get people to your site. If this is the case again write good and interesting content that will surprise and entertain within your topic. - how do you know when your site is not converting? like how many referrals does it take for a subscription base service to convert? When you make no cash!! - since my service is for medical industry, how to make sure i get the right people to promote the service? Again good content which stimulates the reader. - last question, what does CJ look for before letting someone in as an advertiser? The better your traffic and stats the more they'll like you)
Start here: http://www.cj.com/advertisers/ CJ is an expensive proposition. But they do give you access to affiliates. And you can mail direct through their network. That's one of the reasons you buy in it so get that access.
Pretty sure OP is looking to advertise, and not publish, on CJ. They'd probably answer some of these questions for you. It is expensive to advertise there and, unless you have a profitable business, you should probably start elsewhere. You could try doing your own affiliate program, but the downside there is people won't trust you as easily.
