New AdSense Verification Procedure

    Hello,

I read that AdSense has a brand new verification procedure.

At first step they verify your domain, then if all is OK, they open you the account, they send you an e-mail and allow you to place the ad code. Of course, the ad code won't display "normal AdSense ads", it's just something for the verification of the site.

I am more interested in this second step of verification: did any of you go through this? What should one be more careful at this second step?

Basically, they give you the permission to place the ads and they will either "approve" or "disapprove". Only after approval will you be able to serve real paying ads.

Opinions? Advice on what to do to pass the 2nd stage?

Just place the ads. My account got approved after 24 hours or less.

The second verification step is to check how many traffic do you get per day and your traffic source

Double that. I'm may giving away too much information but if you sign up with a 3rd party website (who gets a portion of your revenue) you will be more likely approved.

After you successfully signed up, your Adsense account is fully yours.

    I'm not making this up.

Lot's of our clients got Adsense this way (for the record, lots of=5)

The daily traffic is almost null. Like 2-3 visits per day max. It's a brand new website.
The owner of the website considered that investments for ads, promotion should only be made once the site is ALREADY part of AdSense. So, after that indeed it makes sense promoting (already having monetization source).

So far 3 days passed and no sign from AdSense. No e-mail, no nothing. Should they send an e-mail regarding approval?

Could this be a bad sign?

What would you do now, in this instance?

I think, Google wants to get the total things in his body. It don't share his actual information for others. So they change their policy again and again.

So my client site got approved.

My client is getting "AdChoices" ads, not AdSense. I know Google is linking the two.

    This means approval, right?

According to my knowledge it's exactly the same. Big G. changed the icon and the label to "AdChoices".

Did you have that with the test ads? If no, i think it means approval, yes.

Its a good idea to avoid spammers.
Just simply place the code provided by google on your side. And hopefully your account get approved.
