So i logged into my adsense account today and tried creating a new adsense for content 250x250 ad block. When i get to the last step it asks me to name the adsense unit i just made. By default it says 250x250, created 12/15/07 When i get my adsense code it's different than it used to be. No longer shows the colors borders background etc. It shows google ad slot and the width and height. But it doesnt even work when i put it on my site.
Ok now the ad shows up. It took a while before it actually showed. Weird. Now you can manage your ads and stuff...
They have been asking this for a few weeks now. It makes no difference they are still the same ad units
I finally figured it out. You can create your units - name them and then you can actually go back and manage them. Change the colors, backgrounds etc. and they will automatically update on your site after 10 min. without you going and changing the code on the site. This is pretty cool. Only thing i see is when you create a new ad unit and place it on your site the ads dont show up until 5-10 min later.
