Hey guys, im new in blog adsense I have a question how to redirect myblog.blogspot.com to myblog.com? I want to change my domain name, but i still want to posting my blog from blogger because it's simple. For godsake im a nurse, and have limited knowledge with html and computer. I just want to post blog, submit, and done. I've checked on blue host it says 4$/year to register the name? is that all I need? I get confuse, because some people say I also have to pay monthly payment about 10$ or more? I ask this in this section because i see many bloggers redirect their domain to blogname.com help..
Domain fee is annual. Usually around 10USD per a year. I would suggest you to get domain at Namecheap.com instead of Bluehost.
i dont think you can do a 301 redirect with blogspot blog but accessing the template and with editing the source, you can implement html redirect i believe. i havn't done any redirect on bloger but have seen people posting here claiming to be able to do so. i however would suggest you to migrate from blogspot to your own domain instead of keeping the posts on blogspot and starting fresh with your own domain. do a search on google for blogspot to domain migration or something along with that line and you should get what you are looking for. in terms of domain name, you will need one which is paid annually but you will also need a web hosting account where you will host the domain. hosting accounts come with monthly or yearly charge but most major hosts charge annually

I think Big One gave the best answer about using Blogger since you have limited knowledge about technical stuff. Although WORDPRESS seem to be better and you can get some people do that HTML and plug ins, they may also be a burden for you later is you are not interested in learning them. They are very easy to understand, user-friendly, and you can maintain yourself being a good nurse. For the Google Adsense, you will need high search engine traffic to earn decent money.
