Sup DP'rs, Here is my first attempt at creating an open web directory. I was inspired after years of failed attempts at getting listed in some other well known directory This I felt was becoming very, "DMOZing" to webmasters such as me. Introducing: DMOZing FREE Web Directory Instead of creating the typical "DMOZ sux" type of website... the intentions of this site is to build the type of web directory webmasters have expected from DMOZ instead. One that is truely "the definitive catalog of the web" and continues in the spirit of the Open Source movement. I know I have lots of work ahead of me to achieve such a goal, but perhaps after many years and with the help of fellow DP'rs submitting their sites, we can accomplish this. And IF not, it is at least another free link for your website. This directory offers completely free listings with no reciprocal link or payment required. I may decide to offer featured type listings for a charge, but the free listings will always remain.
