New addition to Adsense - Allowing advertisers to see your ad placement location

Hi,
When I logged into my adsense account today, I found a news saying that publishers can now create custom channels that can double as "Ad placements". Now advertisers ie., Adword users can see the actual location of ads on our publisher's site.

However, I am not able to see that feature in my account. Any idea of this new feature?

the option is under channel-edit channel and the check " Show this channel to advertisers as an ad placement"

can you elaborate??? how is this related to black hat publishers?

 

Black hat publishers don't make websites with actual users in mind - would be my interpretation of that comment.
