I'm not sure if this is the correct term but I just noticed a new ad type which allows for phone calls to a advertiser. I didn't work when i tested it but here's a screen shot.
I guess it makes it easier for competitors to call you up and say "nya nya I'm clicking on your ads" Seriously, this appears to be an extension of the ticket thing that google has been doing for a while. When you search for "new york to london" ticket prices show up sometimes. Why not add hotels to the mix?

@ MicroMag. Those links are just information on the Click to Call Feature. You can click on the image in the first post to view the screenshot. Skinny
Janissary said: old news I said: the screen shot is something new. He post his old news and I told him that there is no screenshot there.
If you want OLD screenshots.... Wednesday, November 23, 2005 http://www.yardley.ca/blog/index.php/archives/2005/11/23/google-tests-out-click-to-call-adwords/
Ok its old news.. new to me though. We do alot of work in the travel sector and one of our clients is the largest aggregator on the internet. They are having some hard times this direct booking this is just another example of how it will be harder for them. Direct booking will cut out the middle man and the third party sites that rely on clickthrough and the like. Good for Google though.
