    Did you click on the link and have a look at the screenshot ? There are normal adsense ads but underneath there are adsense ads in a box.

    Looks like some kind of temporary fluke. Does this ad show up the same way all the time? Did you possibly modify the code in any way?

    I may only be for premium publishers, because I have seen it on www.wired.com (scroll all the way down)

    ...might get close to that effect using ads with and without borders...but no boxes.

    not sure I follow you on that.

    You did have a 728x90 leaderboard with a 728x15 link unit under?

    and you changed the link unit to a leaderboard? Did you do this by getting fresh code from the layout creator, or did you just change some parameters in the code?

    I had a 728x15 link unit there and i changed it for 728x90 leaderboard.I got the 728x90 code from the bottom of my site just coped and past and that ad unit was there was there it.

    G does class it as two ad units even though there is only one bit of code as the ads from the bottom have now gone. The site is www.ranoo.com/forum if you want to have a look at the code.

    I have just spoted why i left some code behind from the link unit

    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
    </script>

    shame they looked a lot better than the standard ad unit.

    There are many threads here about it.

    Premium publisher you can be when you have 20 million page views per month (USA) ore 10 million in Germany, Spain, Italy...
    Then you get from Google:
    # Google sales representative and account manager
    # Flexible ad formats
    # Advanced filtering
    # Optimization assistance
    # Additional monetization options
    # Enhanced technical support

    more Information at jensense:
    http://www.jensense.com/archives/2005/07/premium_publish_1.html

    one german site I know who is premium publisher is:
    funpic.de, there you can see how the difference looks, for example.
