New Account Still Unchecked !

    I signed up for a google adsense account approximately 4 weeks ago and it is still unchecked !

    How long does it take for new applications to be reviewed ? It says a week but this is rediculous !

    It took them 6 working days for me to come back and say "Sorry, can not accept you in adsense"

    It usually takes them less than a week to check and approve/decline your application

    But its the holidays season so that might be causing the delay

    Is there a quicker way ? I heard that if you are a webmaster, then they give you priority as they know that you will be publishing on multiple sites etc ? Is this true ?
