    Hello everyone,

As the title says, i would like to present you another pixel advertising website, using an old, successful idea, but redesigning it in a better way i would say.

    I am talking about http://www.buyaplaceonearth.com

Why is this website better than others?

-First of all it's full 3D,not texture wrapping, not 3d simulation, pure 3D Earth, similar somehow with google earth.
-It allows customers to buy pixels on a representative area of earth, that can mean the company location or just real life desired place to live
-The website format and presentation intrigues the visitor curiosity MUCH MORE than a usual 2D plane website, because for instance, a UK visitor will be curious what website "bought" their country.
-The website is not just an advertise portal, but also a new technological step (at least i like to think there are not that many 3D website) which will attract even more visitors.
-Many others + the usual cheap way of advertising, paying once and heaving the ad for the rest of your life.

The final goal of this project is to become an internet brand, to become known and extend the website to the solar system, and I will do everything in my powers to achieve it.

You should have posted this on the review thread for more feedback.

Anyway, the 3D earth is cool kinda "Google earthy". I don't know if this kind of website still works today but there's no harm from trying. Good luck.

    That is some impressive work!

    Couple of suggestions:
    • Control the Earth rotation by arrow keys
    • A smaller minimum amount of pixels
    • Re-design the interface, make it look like a space shuttle or something
    Other than that, awesome!

Thank you for the feedback, nice to see some optimistic ones, and i will take them into consideration.
I have lowered the price by half, at the same minimum amount of pixels (2500).

    Thanks again!
