NEVER use 600Host.net for your domains!

    Hello everybody

Need your help or any advice

The thing is that my domain registrar 600Host.Net hasn’t renewed my domain which I have paid in-time for. The invoice for renewal was generated, I paid for it in time, after that there were no reminders or alerts via email. And then, I find out that the domain belongs to another person!

I decided to go to the forum, to make 600Host.Net start doing anything, because they say nothing at live chat, they ignore my internal support tickets, do not reply on my direct emails sent to . The only adequate reply I got was in January from their sales manager Robert King, who has just accepted their fault. After that no update or reply on my reminders coming from them.

Are there any options to make them reply and handle, because I need that domain. The domain was to be sold during the CAP 2013 in London at the end of January, but now I have to show this thread to my client so that they do not think I have sold the agreed domain for a better price or something

Glad that this domain was for sale and was not active in my webprojects’ portfolio, otherwise it would be a horror if I built up some good webproject, invested money and time, and then just ran after 600Host.net begging them to give me my business back. Madness, really madness!!

    Any thoughts or advices?

from the screenshots you can see that the domain was renewed in time, that the system shows the domain is mine

but when you go to the domain you will see the sale landing page from another hoster and whois will show the other owner, registrar and the server

To be honest never register a domain with any small scale company which could do such fraudulent acts or just close down anytime always register a domain at well known domain registering companies like Godaddy, Name.com or such they will keep your domains safe and you wont face any problems. You can get web hosting from any small scale companies as it wont effect much as long as you keep back ups but domains are really at higher risks of getting lost (you wont be able to get control over it, happened to me once) The company on which I registered the domain closed down and I had to wait till it gets deleted and re-register again the bad part was as soon as I found that it would have been deleted by now it was registered by someone else and that person demanded over $500 for the domain. It was really a good domain I registered way back in 2002 i.e. around 11 years from now just wish if I would have used any popular well known company I would have that domain with me right now. Just missed it :)

    Hey

those guys are actually not so new, but the still do not care about their reputation

to tell you the truth I keep my domains registering via established registrars
as you can see from the screenshot this was the only domain I have registered with 600host.net

    my bad :(

but still there must be any authorities who can make them handling with me and not just keep ignoring

    do you know any?

Exactly as AJB Team said - never ever register domains with small companies - just choose some of the biggest guys and let them do their job - either it´s Godaddy, name, Dynadot, Namecheap... you can´t go wrong with these...

I would suggest you to use Godaddy, this kind of things never happen with them.

Well he's most likely a reseller if the domains still live, check the whois and find the domain registry and contact them, they will then remove the domain from the resellers account and place into a main account at there domain.

You will most likely find sometime like this below:
    http://www.godaddy.com/reseller/domain-reseller.aspx

    EDIT:
Looks like the domain was dropped or sold by your host, Godaddy seem to be registrar now, better contact them and report the domain stolen.

    ICANN Registrar:

    GODADDY.COM, LLC

    Reverse Whois:
    "GamblingDomains.com"
