Depends on the type of girlfriend, the one you just want to *do* all night, and the one you just want to be with all night...2 differn't girls, 2 differn't personalities, 2 differn't requirements. Example, money will get you the 1st gf. Charisma and personality will you get you the 2nd gf. IMO choose the second, being in love is better than to waste your night on the hit her and quit her girl (don't get me wrong, if you play it smooth you can get the 2nd gf to please you as well ).
To seriously answer your question. Here is the deal... If you want someone to be interested in you, you need to be interested in them. Not just their looks, but them as a person. Start being friendly and interested in everyone you meet. Not just the attractive people. See if you can brighten the day of the person at the Taco Bell drive through window. The person on the tech support line. The guy delivering the mail. When you get to the point of being able to brighten the day of the people you meet, you'll be confident enough to talk to people you are attracted to. The key is being interested in them as a person. Not in their physical appearance. For example if you are a cashier and a movie start comes up to buy something, it is better to ask them about their current projects that to just tell them you think they are beautiful. Be interested in them. One of the best books of all time is "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. He gives tons of examples of making friends with people you don't know. Girls dont care about how much money you have. Not the ones you should be with anyway. Girls love men with Self-esteem , personality. Try to make the girl feel special or make the first move but dont harass her. If she still dosent catch the bait then as they say 'other fish in the sea'. God luck mate.
