I think it would be a good idea, because sometimes I want to suggest something to a poster without leaving a negative or postive.

Like if someone posts something in the wrong category, or makes a post in two different places. Their a noobie, didn't know. I don't want to slam them with a red but then again I don't want to give them a greenie either. Arggg why does life have to be so complicated!!!

Some people don't feel the need to bother people w/ PM's.

I agree it would be a neat idea I guess. Usually when in doubt, I give green.

Some where on da internet theres a hack where you can select how many points to give or take, including zero. That makes it possible to keep from destroying the n00bies, er I mean newbies, rep from one post!! :D Some of us have over 20 points of power, way too much for a -rep for a newbie! :D:D:D

That's a good idea. Sometimes I'm afraid I'm giving somebody too much and I don't want to hurt them. It'd be nice to only give someone half of what I have or even less.

For example, over at the now dead SEOChat boards, it says

How many reputation points to give? With a drop-down box to pick a number.
