Hello, NetworkSolutions.com, have very high prices. Do they have some reason for that prices or? I'm little confused...
Simple: to make money based on what some people are willing to pay. You'd be surprised to know some are willing to pay their prices, as long as they are indeed getting their money's worth. One can argue they're "preying" on people's ignorance. Well, don't some of us do that to make money anyway?
NO actually they do have good customer service so some people (wealthy) find it worthwhile to use the service. Same with register.com... also very good customer service.
Their price is crap. Stay away from them for normal WM but for those with a lot of money then go on..NP
They have nice site , and nothing else... Maybe they provide good support, but however $34.99 for .com domain name is very big price.
It is indeed. But like I said, there are some who are willing to pay, unless they are long-time customers who have been given some price breaks or so.
NetworkSolutions.com are the first domain registration company. so lot's of companies are renew there company domain automatically using NetworkSolutions.com
it is if you are buying 10, 20, 100 or more but for someone who just wants to set up one site it isn't that much.
It's been awhile since I've had a client with a domain through them, but I've always had a good experience (ie I get someone on the phone almost immediately) with their customer service...kind of helpful when the client has no idea what the username / password are on his account, and stopped using whatever email he signed up with years ago.. I don't know that I'd ever pay that much for the service...but with the price definitely comes some perks.
