Network Solutions Transfer Problems

A co-worker of mine wants to transfer his domain from Network Solutions to my company (I'm an Enom reseller). He can't seem to unlock the domain for transfer. There is no option even though the site claims it is as simple as clicking domain lock off. He has submitted a ticket asking them to unlock the domain and it is just sitting.

Anyone have an tricks to resolve this? They seem very difficult to transfer a domain away from them. Thanks in advance.

Unless there's a bug, it sounds like your co-worker doesn't have the so-called
level of access to be able to unlock it. Network Solutions, like other registrars,
allows users with varying permission levels to do stuff with a domain name.

Ask your friend to contact Network Solutions if he's the "primary contact" and
if s/he has access to its email or so. They might ask him/her to fax if all their
online password recovery options won't work, just something to expect.

David, thanks for your input. It sounds like he's going to fax over all that information. I thought he was primary contact but I'll have to double-check. Thanks again.
