Holy %$^ I can't believe it - if you use network solutions to search for domain names, they put a 4 day hold on everything you search for! Bah I guess I'll search on the same site I'd buy it at from now on. Still...LAME.
I think you're correct. Network Solutions is very sneaky. I have some domains hosted by them. They sent me a $10 off email, I clicked the link and I did some domain searches. I found one I like, it was an expired domain, I believe the domain name was collegedatingtips.com, I could add it to to shopping cart, but I couldn't find its $10 coupon code, and $10 off didn't appear in the checkout either, so I hestitated to buy it, wanted to find its discount code. The next day when I got back, collegedatingtips.com was gone, and it said I had to contact another company to buy it, total crap. Later, I received an email from Network Solutions and said I visited them and blah blah, I didn't read the whole email, I was very pissed at them.
