Network solutions domains

    I have just purchased 2 domain name at network solutions but I don't know if it is worth to pay $35/year for a domain, any one please give me some reasons to buy a domain at network solutions

    That is way too much per year.. Is that a .com?

    why you have purchased for 35$ :confused: you could have got those names with other registrars for less than 10$.

    normally that registrar is old and have plenty of expired domains auction sales so people purchase there. ( and transfers fast :D )

    I can only see a reason to purchase from Network Solutions: take advantage of an ongoing promo.

    Sometimes they offer free domains for the first year of as low as $1 USD, but of course it's not worth paying that much at renewal so if you can ever take a deal from them, transfer away before it could be late.

    In my own experience, I had tried twice to take advantage of those promotions, but ending in "unable to complete the request" however offering the domain for $8 instead of $1.

    For less than such price I can register at GoDaddy without having to waste my time dealing with Network Solutions tricks.
