I have seen a bunch of sites that use a network bar at the top that lists all of the sites owned by that person. For example: sportsforums.net If you have tried this, how many of your visitors check out your other sites? Would you recommend adding one of these to all of your sites, even though some will not be related to each other? Thanks, Matt
I think it's best to use network bars if you're having multiple sites specialised in some work, but are connected with each other generally. For example, if you were to have a photoshop, flash, php, illustrator, 3dmax tutorials sites, you would surely connect them in a "tutorial" network, and provide a network bar at the top of your pages. This would surely get your some more interest in your sites and as well some more traffic.
I agree, but you should DEFINITELY give the option to remove the bar. I know why I am at a site (Usually). I find it annoying when I have a network bar advertising mostly sites I have no interest in visiting.
