While I plod along researching, writing content and being very pleased with myself, I'm coming to understand the real way to make money with AdSense. A 'competitor' for one of my sites (who ranks better than me, has more links etc) has a very large network of interlinked sites. I've just realised that their content is taken/scraped whatever from an authority site on the subject. They then have obtained link / links from Wikipedia on very high PR pages, where they are referred to as reference sites. Other funny thing - the original authority site where the info came from doesn't show in G, but lots of sites that have stolen the content do. Not giving URLs because I think the person is a member here and I don't want to get personal. But is this how people actually make lots of AdSense money, rather than studiously writing a couple of pages a day?
