    Hey guys.

I'm creating a nework with a friend that would currently consist of 3 sites (it will, ofcourse, expand in the future)

The three sites are the ones in my sig, minus the web templates site.

We want a brandable name but I can't think of anything good nor can he. So I thought maybe the people here can help.

    Thanks!
    Philip

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, didn't know where to post!

Have a look at the deleted domains list, that usually works for me.

What kind of a Network? or is it a Network of Website? Will you stick to one category or similar?

Not bad, we're looking for something more brandable though like weird names that dont mean anything, that we'll make them mean something.

The list is on http://www.whois.net/ just do a search and I think once you're there, you can browse around and stuff e.g. deleted domains in last 7 days, 4 letter deleted domains etc.

If you look close enough, you can get some really good ones, especially if they were deleted on the day.

    How about a little inspiration..

For example, what is it you want to say or convey ?
Even by 'weird', you could still be trying to communicate a lot of different of things.

And remember, your target audience will perceive wierd one way, while others may perceive weird differently (ie risky, or fringe).

I think the best thing to do, as with all Communication Design is to figure out what you want to say, and to whom.

Perhaps a few cues or existing brands to inspire our imaginations and help frame suggestions.

    Cheers,

    JL
