Seems like the ad-network has a mind of its own. When I validate the weight I get a value of 4000, then I validate it again and its 0. I go to acount settings and submit, the validate again and its 4000 again. Whats going on?? Can anyone clarify?
There seems to be a lot of instability in regards to the API lately. You can try to get another API and see if that helps but most likely you will just have to live with it.
At validation time it will try a random page it finds in Google's index via an API query. If the API service is dodgy it can give 0 results. But if it does work, maybe it finds a page that hasn't got ads on it. Like a PDF or an old page that doesn't exist anymore.
so once validated, i should leave it, or will it update automatically (internally or something)?? and also how many ads does a weight of 4000 give me??
It will update automatically about every 3 days. If it has a problem finding ads, it will email you. Its best to check it every so often to make sure you are showing your "full weight" You can click on your stats in a few days to see how many times your ad is being displayed.
