Network ad's are up, but not mine?

    Hi Guys,

I've put the ad scripts up on my site yet my ad's are not up on the network. I get an error that says "could not find ads on your site". Any help as to what I could do to fix this?

    Thanks

btw, this is the error thats displayed "Account not not yet activated. | Site failed automatic validation as of 2005-07-11 (make sure URL and site type is correct - if everything is correct, make a request in the forum for assistance)."

Everything is correct, url, site type and the 5 network text link ad's are also displaying in the footer section of my site & on refreshing they change etc..

Day 4 and still my ad's are not up..same error..this is what my programmer told me he did -

    a) Since the site is developed in asp and asp.net it is technically not possible to mix the two, esp using the include tag or php include as mentioned in the document.
    b) Hence as a work around i have used the xmlhttp server object to include the php file in the asp page. I have not modified the ad_network_309.php.

Has this got anything to do with it? He's not modified the 309.php file though, and the ad's are appearing on my site?

You need to have ads on all pages (returned via the Google API) in the directory and subdirectories of the URL you specified in the site settings

When you validate your site, it will tell you exactly what page it doesn't find ads on. What's the URL it says?

Running ASP + .Net via some PHP interpreter sounds like recipe for trouble to me.

Do you have any ads in the .txt cache at all?

    Hi Shawn,

This is exactly what it says "Ads not found on http://www.metroflora.com/". This is the home page & the ads are appearing there..everything looks in place to me, so I'm really not sure why this error pop's up..could you please offer insight.

Tops30: I sent your Q to my programmar and this is what he says -

"Its no trouble at all. PHP is handled via PHP handler. .NET calls the php script via HTTP request and embeds its content with the .NET code.. i know it sounds a little complex .... but the process is similar ( for understanding only ) to HTML scraping method used to collect information from other websites and embed them into our website..
I have not checked the FTP recently for the .txt cache ..but the ads are getting refreshed properly and are being embeded on all the pages.."

Unless the PHP script sees the user agent and IP address as the end user (which I suspect it does not), it's not going to work.

It does not see the User Agent or IP address of the end user, however it does refresh the links. Is there anything we could do to make this work? Is an ASP script available.?
