Netsol not playing fair - can I go to a higher body please?

Although my details are in the WhoIs, my .com is in the adminstrative control of my webhost. They are completely useless - no response to emails, phone calls, forum postings etc. etc.

The domain name is in my webhost's wholesaler account. Netsol said I need to send proof of ID to have the domain transferred from wholesaler to standard account and then I can transfer to whichever registrar I like (am sick of Netsol's bureacracy).

To cut a very long story short, have sent Netsol six faxes of pictures with different resolutions, but they keep saying my proof of ID picture is not clear. I don't believe them (even one of their staff was amazed on the phone: he said the picture and passport scan was perfectly clear). Complete nightmare - and my high traffic website has been down for a week now because of useless webhost. Is there any higher body I can go to? Please provide specific contact details.

    Thanks a million.

Thank you for your helpful response.

Yes, after a week of pulling my hair out, one of the staff at Netsol said 'why don't you email in scans of your ID'? Errr... why hadn't you told me a week earlier? Anyway, I emailed in nearly ten Proofs of ID, ranging from passport to drivers license to electricity bill to bank statements. Emailed them all to different email addresses at Netsol repeatedly. But Netsol now say they haven't received a single one of my emails! This is just one example among a dozen others.

Does anybody have any contacts at Netsol or ICANN please?

I am at the end of my tether. I am co-operating and fulfilling EVERY request Netsol make, but they keep messing me around at every hurdle. This has been my worst customer service experience in my entire life.

The namesevers of my domain are the old webhost and there is a problem with their servers: my website is not work. I spent tens of thousands of hours building that website and huge amounts of money promoting it, and now it's all being ruined.

I have phoned Netsol nearly 50 times now, sent them 10 faxes and 30 emails. But I'm just going around in circles - not getting anywhere with acquiring my domain name. Spend at least three hours a day on the phone to them; each staff member says if I do XYZ I'll have my domain name and yet, when I do, they say I need to do something else.

Have done a search for Netsol in Google and quite a few people talk about the insane red tape at this organisation.

I contacted ICANN, but have heard that unless you have any personal contacts, it can take weeks to jump through all the hoops to acquire your domain name.

    Thanks so much.
