Netherlands Wins Over Slovakia

    Slovakia who eliminated Italy, the defending champion, was eliminated by Netherlands. Final score is 2-1. Netherlands will advance to the quarter finals of the world cup probably against Brazil.

    The Dutch have not really been tested at this World Cup- they've rarely had to move out of second gear. Slovakia had their chances but paid for not being able to capitalise on them- Vittek should have scored on atleast three occasions.

    You can't just assume that they will be playing Brazil ... Don't count Chile out just yet.
